Togut, Segal and Segal LLP was recognized with two awards at Global M&A Network’s 12th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards, which were held virtually on January 21-22, 2021. The Atlas Awards honor excellence from the restructuring, insolvency, distressed investing, and M&A industries. The Togut Firm received the following awards:
- Corporate Turnaround of the Year – for the Togut Firm’s role as co-counsel, with Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP as legal advisors, in the restructuring of Trident Holding Company.
- Pharma Restructuring of the Year – for the Togut Firm’s role as legal advisors, also with Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP, in the restructuring and sale of assets of Synergy Pharmaceuticals.
The Trident team was led by Frank Oswald and Kyle Ortiz. The Synergy team was led by Al Togut, Neil Berger and Kyle Ortiz.
