Togut Firm Partner Kyle Ortiz will be speaking at the upcoming GRR Live: New York event on Thursday, October 6, 2022, on a panel titled “Looking ahead: what’s on the horizon?” The GRR Live: New York event will be held in-person at the offices of Cleary Gottlieb. Mr. Ortiz will be joined on the panel by Rachel Albanese of DLA Piper, Corinne Ball of Jones Day, and Charles Booth of the University of Hawai’i, William S. Richardson School of Law. Lisa Schweitzer of Cleary Gottlieb will serve as panel moderator. The panel will discuss likely upcoming developments and future risks and opportunities in the restructuring industry.
Mr. Ortiz has broad international case experience, including serving as debtor’s counsel to LATAM Airlines, Toshiba Nuclear Energy Holdings (UK) Limited (Westinghouse), Pacific Drilling, Toisa Limited, and others, and is a frequent lecturer and writer on cross-border issues. He is also the co-chair of the ABI’s International Committee.
