The Togut Firm is pleased to announce that managing partner Frank A. Oswald will be recognized by Catholic Renewal as a co-honoree of the 2024 Saint Francis Service Award, to be presented at a reception to be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in New York. The Saint Francis Service Award recognizes members of the restructuring community who, regardless of creed, have demonstrated a standard of integrity, humility, and charity that warrants the acclaim of their peers. Since its inaugural reception 13 years ago, Catholic Renewal has raised more than $10 million for food pantries programs operated by Catholic charities, which serve thousands of New Yorkers in need.
For more than 35 years, Mr. Oswald has represented corporate debtors, creditors, trustees, and other stakeholders in both in and out-of-court restructuring matters. He has consistently been recognized in Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and has been named a New York Super Lawyer every year since 2010. Mr. Oswald is a member of the EDNY’s Bankruptcy Judges’ Chapter 11 Lawyers Advisory Committee, the Board of the Turnaround Management Association (NY Chapter), and a member of the ABI’s Committee on Healthcare Law. He is also a Board Member of Elizabeth Seton Children’s, Chairman of the Board of Elizabeth Seton Children’s Foundation, member of the Executive Board and Treasurer of the Jewish Community Center of Staten Island, and a member of the Foundation Board for the Richmond County University Hospital.
Mr. Oswald will be joined at the 2024 reception by Heather Lennox as co-honoree of the Saint Francis Service Award. Ms. Lennox is the Global Practice Leader of the Business Restructuring & Reorganization at Jones Day. More information about the Catholic Renewal Saint Francis Reception can be found here.
Congratulations to Mr. Oswald and Ms. Lennox for their well deserved recognition.
