Togut Segal & Segal is pleased to announce that it has been recognized once again in the Best Lawyers’ “Best Law Firms” 2026 rankings, as a Tier 1 law firm for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law in both the national and New York City rankings.
The U.S. News—Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes the collection of client and lawyer evaluations, peer review from leading attorneys in their field, and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process. To be eligible for a ranking, a law firm must have at least one lawyer who is included in Best Lawyers in that particular practice area and metro location.
Earlier this year, Togut Firm partners Albert Togut, Frank A. Oswald, and Neil Berger were also recognized in the 2026 Best Lawyers Guide as individual lawyers for their work in Bankruptcy and Creditor / Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law in New York City, and associate Eitan Blander was recognized in the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list.
